Detailed hardware modelling

IK Multimedia know that modelling one of the most sought-after organs ever made requires a deeply detailed approach, so that's exactly what they did. Based on multiple hardware units to build up the 91 free-running tonewheels, and provide a mix of the sounds of these individual units based on the note and drawbar levels you set in the plugin. Tonal filtering, key click, Hammond percussion sounds, and chorus-vibrato circuit modelling provide those extra details that really sell the sound.

Flexibility and versatility

The Hammond B-3X also includes a lot of features to suit your contexts and setup. For recording and studio use, the plugin provides deep tone sculpting and its format will suit any DAW. Simply drop it into any session you want it on, route your MIDI controller to it, and you can get the perfect organ sound. The drawbar settings even update in real-time, for dynamic performance interfacing that you can control directly, and you can save 24 drawbar settings per preset. For the live performers, a Control view hides the keyboard and enlarges the drawbars and switches for focused and dynamic control. Included MIDI assignments that include presets for modern Hammond digital organs, mean that you can have extensive control without the bulk or price tag of a real unit on-stage.

Authentic fffects

A pedalboard of five analog-modelled effects for classic overdrive, smooth graphical EQ tone shaping, original chorus modulation, spring reverb for gritty echo, and a wah pedal for expression taken from IK's AmpliTube guitar suite make for incredible effects and the ability to push your Hammond sound into any territory you want. Emulation of Leslie amps and cabinets, as well some classic guitar amps used by rock and blues legends with mix controls for blending, round out the amplification section. To add that final studio-ready sheen, three classic rack effect emulations will help your organ sound sit right where you need it in the mix.
