The Make Noise Echophon is a truly unique echo and pitch shifting module, combining the principles of both to create a versatile combo. The echo and delay section provides exponential control of delay time, with a maximum time of 1.7 seconds. The tempo input gives you the ability to synchronise echoes to multiple or division of an external clock. It features two independent internal digital feedback patch (loop 1 and loop 2) providing different ways to trigger your feedback. There is also an external analog feedback patch allowing you to create filtered or processed echoes.
In addition to the Echo and Delay capabilities, the Echophon also includes a pitch shifting section which you can apply to your echoes for added versatility. The Echophon includes a wide-range of in-depth modulation control including a shift pitch signal comprised of +/- 2 Octaves. There is also a FREEZE button/gate input that allows you to utilise, hold, stutter and sampling techniques. The all analog dry signal path combined with the 24bit ADC/DAC, 32-bit processing ensures optimal audio fidelity and performance. The Vactrol based mix circuit is perfect for blending wet and dry signals, providing smooth yet precise control.
The stylish, modern aesthetic of the faceplate, uses a circuit-board-like design, with every control and parameter clearly labelled for quick and easy access. This eurorack module only requires 20HP, ideal for the space conscious user. It features 12 patch points in total, with precise rotary control for most parameters. It includes voltage control over all parameters for optimal control; with Time Modulation, Tempo Sync, saturating Feedback and the unique Pitch Shifting algorithm inspired by the Springer Tempophon. This versatile echo and pitch shifting module is ideal for any modular setup.
