The Focal Alpha Twin EVO is ideal for professional mixing and mastering purposes, with its combination of premium-grade components and years of expertise from Focal. The highly unique design features dual 6.5-inch Slatefiber cone woofers complete with Focal’s iconic aluminium inverted dome tweeter design. The result is an exceptional dynamic performance with a neutral tonal balance at both high and low volumes.
Designed for versatility, the Focal Alpha Twin EVO can be used for a variety of applications. From mixing and mastering to film score composition and even broadcasting. You can be assured you get the highest level of accuracy and precision across the full frequency spectrum. Constructed to be used horizontally, you can select which speaker driver produces the midrange spectrum via the switch located on the rear monitor panel.
Optimised audio fidelity with powerful bass reproduction
Utilising premium-grade components, the Alpha Twin EVO delivers optimised audio performance with outstanding dynamic and ultra-low distortion. It also features a built-in laminar port which helps to optimise bass reproduction at any volume level, ensuring you can truly feel the power of your low-end. You can also attenuate your sound using the built-in bass and treble settings on the rear panel in the form of high and low shelving controls. It also maintains the same tonal balance at both low/high volumes ensuring maximum consistency across the board.
Three inputs with automatic standby mode
You can output your sound using up to three sources, providing you with XLR, TRS and RCA connections for maximum flexibility. The rear panel also features a sensitivity switch which you can set to 0dB or +6dB. Another useful feature is the automatic standby mode that will turn the monitor off when not in use, saving power. The beautifully-designed enclosure comes complete with robust protection grilles that can be removed when/if needed.
