When used at close range, the microphone reacts with a bass boost in the 75-300Hz area, helping voices and instruments sound more distinct and powerful.

One of the most unique features of the D2 is the integrated frequency response switches. The three switches allow you to cater your frequency response to your sound source for added versatility. Two of the settings are used for toggling between two varying bass rolloff filter, ideal for use with vocal recordings.
