The TC1 microphones combines the best of both worlds with the inclusion of a low-distortion dual capsule and a specially selected low-noise 6072/12AT7 vacuum tube. The combination of the two varying circuits makes the TC1 one of the most versatile studio microphones available. The condenser circuitry is comprised of a 3µm gold-sputtered low-distortion dual capsule mounted within an internal shock mount. This premium-grade condenser capsule is ideal for vocals and instruments records alike, boasting a wide frequency response and natural transients for optimal audio fidelity.
Optimised for perfect reproduction
The specially picked low-noise 6072/12AT7 vacuum tube captures the essence of the vintage sound. Inspired by classic tube microphones, this vacuum tube provides a vintage-style tone, with that classic warmth that is so sought after. Its gritty yet warm sound is further accentuated by the extended frequency response and large dynamic range. The vacuum tube sounds great when used with most instruments, as well as vocals.
Versatile polar patterns
One of the most unique features of the Golden Age Project TC1 Microphone is the nine selectable polar patterns. The nine patterns include Cardioid, Omnidirectional, Figure-8 and six intermediate stages. The polar patterns are selectable via the external power supply, with it including a switch for toggling between patterns. Each polar pattern is suited for various recording applications, such as the Cardioid pickup pattern being great for vocal and instrument recordings. The six intermediate stages provide a combination of the three main polar patterns, resulting in highly unique tones that can be used for a variety of sound sources.

The sleek vintage-style design features a heavy duty brass body and gold-plated XLR connector for maximum signal integrity.
