Far from your average studio monitor, the iLoud Precision MTM takes nearfield monitoring to the next level with its cutting-edge components, design aspects and state-of-the-art technology. With the onboard 96kHz (sampling rate) digital signal processor, the iLoud Precision MTM delivers an ultra-flat frequency response resulting in transparent sound reproduction. The powerful DSP also acts as a digital crossover between the dual 5-inch woofers and the 1.5-inch dome tweeter. The result is smooth and detailed sound, capturing every nuance of your source audio – perfect for mixing and mastering applications.
Ensuring the utmost sonic accuracy is paramount when it comes to designing monitors and with the iLoud Precision MTM, IK Multimedia has surpassed every expectation. Utilising the powerful onboard DSP, the iLoud Precision MTM monitor delivers true phase and time coherence. The exceptional sonic performance will translate to your mixes, allowing you to hear every detail with extreme accuracy. The cutting-edge design features ultralight coated paper membraned mid-woofers and a low-distortion, low resonance chambered 30mm textile dome tweeter enclosed within high-damping MDF enclosures.
Utilising their custom ARC (Acoustic Room Correction) technology, the iLoud Precision MTM monitor can be automatically calibrated using the powerful ARC system. The iLoud Precisions come complete with a MEMS measurement microphone, which when used in conjunction with the software will automatically calibrate the monitor to match your room. Simply use the microphone to measure the acoustics of your working space and the software will do the rest. This ensures you are getting the best possible acoustic performance in relation to the room you are working in which allows you to make better informed mixing/mastering decisions.
One of the most exciting new features IK Multimedia have introduced is the inclusion of the X-MONITOR reference modelling software. Newly developed for the iLoud Precision range, the X-MONITOR software allows for extended acoustic space setups and also assists with calibrating using the ARC system. You can also emulate the sound of a wide variety of iconic studio monitors, Hi-Fi speakers and even mobile devices. It doesn’t just emulate the sound of the various monitor, it will also accurately replicate the phase response or your chosen monitor.
The rear panel features both low and high frequency switches which allow you to quickly attenuate to any room. You can attenuate the monitor to work as an extension for Atmos and other systems. The high/low frequency management system comes complete with a full switchable 35/50/65/80 Hz extension for optimising the performance alongside other immersive setups.
Any electrical items in your order may have been designed to work with a 240V circuit, using a United Kingdom G type plug connection or a 220V circuit, using an EU plug connection.
