Maximum distance is 500 meters when using a standard CAT5 cable, which is over 33 times the distance that can be achieved using standard MIDI cables. The Kenton MIDI Line Driver comes supplied as a pair of units with a MIDI input and MIDI output at both ends, enabling you to connect MIDI devices to each other over a farther distance compared to standard MIDI cables.
