The Klevgrand Haaze 2 - Stereo Tool is a frequency-specific panning tool plug-in. Designed using the Haas effect to create natural and realistic panning movements across the stereo field, Haaze 2 features 16 independently controllable frequency bands to apply processing to. With three modes of operation from the Haas effect, to the level and panning of each frequency band, you are in full control over the stereo spread of your audio including MS stereo mode to adjust the stereo spread individually. Perfect for sound designers and producers, you can create natural results that can emphasise stereo width on a mono source, or create lush and wide soundscapes for full instruments.
Presented in a simple interface with 16 sliders, you are given full control over your audio. Switching between each of the three modes, you can simply drag the sliders to your preferred settings to achieve the sound you want, with no convoluted menus to navigate through. Coming included with a myriad of factory presets, you can dive straight into the sound design possibilities to experiment with unique stereo processing on your tracks and projects.

Haaze 2 is a 16-band stereo widening tool that enables you to adjust the stereo positioning and width of audio. With three different modes onboard, you have full control over each independent frequency band in your audio signal, along with the relative pan of each to create a realistic movement that's natural and transparent. Using the Haas technique, Haaze 2 creates more natural and pleasing panning across the entire frequency and stereo spectrum.
The first mode presented is the Haas mode, which adds a small delay to an independent channel to create the illusion that a sound reaches one ear before the other. This view controls the delay times between the left and right channels, ranging from 0 - 40ms. A simple slider allows you to determine whether the sound hits the left or right channels first for simple and natural positioning across the stereo field.
The Pan mode enables you to adjust the gain levels of one of the frequency bands. Similar to traditional 'split EQ' plug-ins, each frequency band operates as an EQ, allowing you to set the slider up or down to adjust the panning range of each band. Ideal for sound designers, this is where you can position frequency-based audio across the spectrum for added space and depth in your mix.
Lastly, the M/S tab adjusts the output of each independent band between full stereo to mono. Perfect for adjusting the lower frequencies to mono to allow for more stereo separation of the highs and lows, this is ideal for EDM producers and mixing engineers looking to create a more balanced frequency spectrum across the stereo and mono channels.
In music production, panning is used to place a sound across the stereo field from left to right but unfortunately using traditional panning methods does not replicate real-world acoustics, leading to less than desirable effects. When a sound is moved continuously across the stereo field, it will simply appear louder in one ear when moved closer to its destination. Avoiding these problems, Haaze 2 allows you to use more accurate Haas-effect panning techniques to move sounds between ears, adding a delay to a channel to make it sound like the sound is coming from a certain direction, instead of simply being louder in one ear.
Delivered in a sleek and streamlined interface, Haaze 2 allows you to quickly and easily make the adjustments you need to your audio for optimised stereo positioning. The main tab highlights all 16 sliders of independent frequencies with different controls and parameters being highlighted depending on what mode you are in. Accurate monitoring of both the VU meter and the stereo waveform over the frequency spectrum is afforded to give you visual feedback over your audio panning.
