Thanks to the LCT 040's cardioid polar pattern, the microphone will be just as comfortable on-tour as it is in the studio. This ensures a tight focussed pick-up at the front of the capsule, with up to 6dB of rejection at the sides and nothing from the rear. You'll find this is perfect for minimising undesirable off-axis noise and ambience.
The relatively flat nature of the microphone means it will respond well to equalisation.
