Exceptional Audio Fidelity
The Lewitt LCT 640 TS Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone is one of the most versatile studio microphones available thanks to its unique dual-output mode and wide range of premium-grade components. The LCT 640 TS is ideal for recording virtually any sound source from instruments to vocals. The LCT 640 TS boasts an extended frequency range designed to capture every nuance from your source audio in exceptional detail. The result is rich and transparent sound that is highly detailed and articulate. The 3 micron gold sputtered Mylar diaphragm and pressure gradient transducer ensure every recording is optimal quality thanks to the premium-grade components.
Mid-Stereo Recording With Just One Microphone
Normally you would have to match a pair of condenser microphones together to achieve a stereo sound. The LCT 640 TS can achieve this with just one microphone thanks to its dual-output mode. The front and back of the diaphragm is comprised of independent circuits, allowing you to achieve Mid-Side stereo recordings with a single microphone. This allows you to create an immersive stereo field with just this one single microphone. The result is exceptional stereo imagery that can be used for a range of applications, from drum overheads to vocal ensemble recordings.
Multiple Polar Patterns
One of the most unique features of the Lewitt LCT 640 TS is the ability to switch polar patterns even after you are done recording. Once you are done recording, you can use the Lewitt Polarizer Plug-in to switch between patterns, allowing you to achieve the sound you want even after your session. The microphone boasts a wide range of polar patterns including omnidirectional, wide cardioid, cardioid, sueprcardioid and figure-8. This makes the microphone ideal for a range of recording applications from instruments to vocals to even podcasting and interviews.
Filtering, Attenuation & Magnetic Pop Filter
The Lewitt LCT 640 TS Large-Diaphragm Condenser Microphone is highly rugged and comes complete with the Lewitt Magnetic Pop Filter, allowing you to minimise sibilance and plosive sounds while recording. It also features an illuminated interface with both a low-cut filter and attenuation pad with three settings. This allows you to cater to a range of environments, from removing low-end rumble from acoustic guitar recordings to changing the dynamic response for high-level instruments. It also boasts accurate match technology, ensuring any two LCT 640 TS microphones with instantly form a matched pair. Additionally, the microphone comes with a heavy-duty storage case, microphone clip and leatherette storage bag.
