Key Features
The all-in-one MIDI solution. With the MOTU MIDI Express XT 8-Channel MIDI Interface in your rig, you'll be ready to take on anything. Inspired by the renowned MIDI Time Piece, the XT uses identical technology to provide you with enough power and speed to support your full MIDI set-up. For an unparalleled level of control over your set-up, make the most of the XT's merge matrix patchbay. This enables you to sync and merge your equipment with other processors that are connected to the interface. Thanks to its intuitive manner, you'll be able to make changes on the fly. To make life even easier you can even create eight of your own custom presets for instant recall, making it perfect for live and session work.

For quick and easy, convenient control, connect a footswitch via the front-panel. This can be programmed to generate MIDI data when pressed as well as send data to any device that's connected. This is particularly useful for triggering changes to synths and sound modules whilst performing without getting "bogged" down in the technicalities.
Thanks to the inclusion of ClockWorks console software, all technical tasks will feel like effortless endeavors. Compatible with both Windows and Mac operating systems you'll be able to easily route, merge and mute any MIDI signal that you desire.
The XT is also able to convert and stripe SMPTE in a wide array of frame formats (23.976*, 24, 25, 29.97 drop and non-drop, and 30). Make the most of the SMPTE “jam sync” as its adjustable freewheeling serves to provide you with error free sync possibilities.
