Key Features
The Roland Cloud JUNO-106 Fully Loaded faithfully recreates the highly popular Juno-106 in meticulous detail, down to the components themselves! Utilising Roland's ACB (Analog Circuit Behaviour) for the utmost authenticity when it comes to replicating analog sound. The Juno-106 itself achieved its legendary status in the mid-80s, renowned for its unique sound-shaping abilities, its iconic suboscillator and of course, the classic chorus effect. The Juno-106 was (and still is) revered as one of the most popular synths ever created. Along with the stunning JUNO emulation, the Fully Loaded suite comes with seven premium Roland designer patches, created using the JUNO-106 emulation itself to offer the perfect soundscapes to a variety of styles and genres.
Whilst staying true to the original design, the programmers at Roland couldn't help but add some highly requested features including LFO, VCF, VCA, and effects sections, as well as an arpeggiator. With up to eight voices of polyphony (six when set to default mode) combined with the Roland 80017A VCF/VCA integrated circuit, this software synth will enrich your sound palette and drive your inspiration to new levels. The stunning GUI allows you to interact with every parameter as if you had the hardware version in front of you. What's more, you can even control the Juno-106 Virtual Instrument by hooking up an AIRA SYSTEM-8 hardware synth for in-depth sound and performance control.

Regarded for its powerful analog sound and versatile programmability, the Juno-106 Virtual Instrument faithfully recreates the classic polysynth for the digital age. Whilst staying true to the original, the virtual instrument version features a range of improvements, enhancements and new features. For instance, the polyphony has been increased to eight voices, whilst still allowing you to keep it old school and limit it to six for a classic feel.
Two adjustable envelopes are also included as well as a tempo-syncing arpeggiator for expansive sound design and sequencing capabilities. Furthermore, there is a wide variety of new presets as well as the original factory tones, perfect for capturing inspiration when it strikes. There is also a selection of skins to try out including the classic and System-8 layouts.
The powerful digitally controlled oscillators deliver vintage analog warmth and grit, capturing the vintage tones of the mid-80s. The legendary Juno stereo chorus effect is also included, perfect for creating massive full-bodied sounds. From vintage-style techno basses to soaring leads, the Juno-106 has it all.
In-depth integration is available using the Plug-Out format allowing you to use Roland's System-8 hardware synth. From here, the parameters are mapped automatically to System-8's controls. Unlike the scarcely available hardware version of the Juno-106, the virtual instrument version doesn’t require frequency tune-ups and costly maintenance. You can also use the plugin alongside the Roland Boutique JU-06/JU-06 A for hands-on control.
