Shure A15HP In-Line High Pass Filter

The Shure A15HP In-Line High Pass Filter is an easy way to clean up your audio signal. When connected to the mic input on a typical mixer the A15HP reduces low frequencies below 100 Hz. The A15HP helps eliminate electrical and mechanical noise in an audio system, such as 60Hz electrical hum from AC power lines, rumble caused by wind noise or air conditioning systems, and stage noise transmitted to a microphone through the microphone stand.

The A15HP is ideal for adding to simple audio interfaces and mixers that do not have a high pass filter built-in. Unlike the sharp roll off from most mixer HPFs, this has a gentle and pleasing low frequency cut, along with a little boost to support frequencies just over 100 Hz, so it never sounds thin.
