Select between Omni-directional, Uni-directional(cardioid) and Bi-directional (figure of eight) polar patterns for your recordings. Omni-directional is the perfect solution for recording multiple musicians in one space, such as a chamber orchestra, to capture each element evenly. The cardioid pattern can be selected when recording a single audio source such as a singer or vocalist to capture direct detail with a focused and tight sound. Bi-directional will be effective when recording two sources at once such as a duet singing performance, where both singers will be recorded in one capsule to present a consistent frequency response.
