Each delay mode is modelled after a specific era of digital processing, giving you creative tools with distinctly different sonic profiles. From the percussive and energetic feel of the early 80s adaptive delta modulation (ADM) to the warm, rich qualities of 12-bit pulse code modulation (PCM) delays, and the modern precision of 24-bit, 96kHz high-resolution delay, the DIG lets you craft your ideal sound. This makes it a versatile tool for producers looking to blend both vintage warmth and modern clarity into their mixes.

Dual delay flexibility

The DIG features two delay engines working together, allowing you to create complex rhythmic effects and textures. Delay 1 is your main delay, adjustable from 20ms to 1.6 seconds, while Delay 2 acts as a companion with its own subdivision settings. Whether you want synchronized echoes that lock perfectly with your track’s tempo or more unpredictable patterns, DIG has the flexibility to match your creative needs. Switch between time-synced delays or fully independent delay machines with Free mode to take full control of your sound.

Customisable stereo configurations

With three routing options — Series, Ping Pong, and Parallel — the DIG opens up a world of stereo delay possibilities. Series routing cascades Delay 2 into Delay 1 for layered effects, while Ping Pong sends delays bouncing back and forth between left and right channels for a wide, dynamic stereo field. Parallel mode keeps each delay on its own side, creating a spacious mix with independent delays on the left and right channels. These options give you maximum control over how your delays interact in a stereo mix, making it easy to create engaging and spacious soundscapes.

Modulation and tone shaping

Fine-tune your delay sound with the DIG’s Modulation and Tone controls. The Modulation knob adds movement to your echoes, from subtle shimmer to thick, chorus-like effects. Meanwhile, the Tone control adjusts the feedback filter, allowing you to darken or brighten your repeats. Whether you want smooth, washed-out delays or bright, sparkly echoes, these controls give you the tools to perfect your delay tone. This makes the DIG an ideal choice for shaping your delay effects to suit any genre or musical style.
