Key Features
The Verbos Electronics Harmonic Oscillator is the first module ever to incorporate eight outputs, translating the harmonics into sine waves.
Product Ref: 95314
The Verbos Harmonic Oscillator is the first Eurorack module to provide the first eight harmonics as sine waves, complete with outputs. It offers a varied sound palette, allowing you to achieve everything from vocal-style sounds to organs and even more organic sounds. The discrete triangle core comes complete with triangle, saw and square waves.
The left side of the module features an oversized potentiometer for controlling the frequency of your oscillator. It also contains ‘fine’ and ‘coarse’ controls for added precision. This complex sound source provides a variety of tonality, delivering genre-defying sounds that can be used in the studio or live on stage.
The voltage-controlled mixer section provides you with eight retro-style sliders. The sliders provide advanced precision for inputting your levels. The sliders can either amplify or attenuate harmonics. You can do this manually via the sliders or by use of the CV section.
Using the mixer section, you can interact with the harmonics in multiple different ways. There are controls for scan and tilt parameters. You can use the scan and centre controls to modulate through the harmonics. This allows you to create complex waveforms and sounds, ranging from atmospheric soft pads to rich percussive-like synth sounds.
The vintage-style faceplate is reminiscent of synth modules from the late 80s. This unique, retro aesthetic brings a touch of music history to your modular system. The controls also mimic the feel of old-school modules.
The module also provides a variety of analog and CV connectivity. Each of the eight-channel harmonics features their own dedicated output, providing the means to communicate and control external modules. Includes within the connections are a Linear FM CV input, Exponential CV input and of course, the 1V/octave CV input.
