At the front of the cornet, there is a nickel silver mouthpiece receiver which is ideal for young beginners because the mouthpiece won't get stuck, meaning no need for expensive maintenance work. This leadpipe on the CR651 cornet is made from high-quality rose brass which is ideal for creating a warm tone.
To ensure you can start learning the basics of tuning, the CR651 student cornet features first and third slide tuning triggers.
