This model has been designed for the professional player. Offering a developed lead pipe taper and bell design, the B&S trumpet has less resistance than previous models in the series. These changes enable players to choose their preferred combination of lead pipe and bell flare. Used by professional recording artists, the Challenger 2 provides more consistent playability. The lightweight bell makes this trumpet ideal for use in big bands.
Yellow Brass is commonly used as the base metal for brass instruments. A standard mix of 70 percent copper and 30 percent zinc helps to provide a focused sound with a solid core, produced with very little resistance.
The included double hard wood-shell case is ideal for travelling players. Whether you're going to school, rehearsal, gigs or concerts, this case will protect your trumpet from scratches and knocks, keeping your instrument looking, feeling, and sounding like new for longer. The Challenger 2 also comes with a mouthpiece, so players can start to practice as soon as the trumpet arrives. A maintenance care kit is included so players can maintain the high standards of their instrument for longer.
