The Bavarian replica violin really is a gorgeous instrument. The breathtaking one piece, quarter cut back has a medium figure which perfectly complements the fine-grained spruce top. The varnish adds a sense of clarity with its radiant glow and shows off the uniformity of the grain.

A piece of history
By using the historic combination of Maple and Spruce for the body, Master Xue Ping Hu has faithfully replicated Stradivari's original designs. The one-piece, quarter-cut back boasts a medium figure which rises towards the bass side. The top is a fine-grained Spruce with a regular even grain which broadens slightly towards the flanks. These woods are hand-selected based on their age and width of grain before being hand-carved for a sound and appearance that is full of history. For the perfect finish, the violin is varnished to emphasise the clarity and perfection of the wood.
