Buffet ClariMate Digital Clarinet Mute, with Case Overview
The Buffet ClariMate Digital Clarinet Mute allows you to turn your Bb or A clarinet into an electronic wind instrument. With Bluetooth, USB-C and headphone outputs, you can use it with a phone, computer or by itself for silent practice, playing with a backing track or as a controller. The ClariMate app is compatible with popular streaming, metronome and tuning apps. It works with most mouthpieces and instrument models, and you can use the included active reeds to measure breath intensity and use the pitch bend and reed features. Your ClariMate comes with a case so you can take it on the road.

A ClariMate digital mute brings all the convenient features of a digital wind to your clarinet. You can explore the benefits of silent practice and app integration without switching instruments, and enjoy the flexibility of using the provided reeds or your own preferred setup. Sacrificing embouchure's a thing of the past with the reed positioning and usage perfectly emulating a traditional set-up. The included plugs, in varying diameters, can be used to change the airflow resistance allowing you to have an authentic playing experience.

Suitable for Apple iOS, Android and Windows devices, the ClariMate app offers a range of features designed to enhance your playing experience. You can connect either by Bluetooth to a phone, or USB to a computer, and utilise the Note Display, Note Training, Synth Controls, Breath Controls and MIDI.
The Home Screen shows you which note you've played, your note's standard fingering and where it appears on the staff when written. You can adjust the Home Screen settings on the Training Screen along with inputting alternate fingerings you use. Synth Controls allow you to change the sound settings and calibrate the active reed while Breath Control means you can adjust the output of your blowing intensity and change the thresholds.

The final section of the app, MIDI, means that your acoustic clarinet can also be used as a MIDI controller when connected to a computer.
