Key Features
This beginners curved head flute is a great start for kids wanting to learn the instrument. The curved head makes it ideal for smaller children and the included straight head is included for later progression. Also included is a moulded case and cleaning rod so students have everything they needs to get started straight away.

The included curved headjoint enables younger learners to be able to access the flute more easily by shortening its length. The headjoint bends in on itself, enabling the student to be closer to all the keys and therefore able to get to the bottom register of the instrument. This allows players to focus on breathing techniques and finger placement whilst easily holding the flute.
The flute's curved head requires the exact same action as a standard straight flute head, so techniques learned here are quickly transferrable as the player grows. The student flute also includes a straight headjoint allowing the player to grow alongside the instrument, meaning you won't need to switch out this flute for many years to come.
This flute has two mechanisms that make it an easy instrument to play. The offset G mechanism is more suited for instrumentalists with smaller hand spans. The G key is positioned slightly further away from the flute in a more ergonomic position for smaller hands. The split E affects the top E on the flute, which is generally a weak sounding note. The added mechanism improves the final quality of the sound, making it a more responsive instrument.
The body of this student flute has been made from a cupro-nickel body, which is not only a lightweight alloy, but is also corrosion resistant, meaning that this instrument will last a very long time. The finishing has been produced from a combination of nickel and silver, which gives a hard wearing attractive finish to the instrument.
This instrument takes into account the needs of the every day learner. The closed hole (or Plateau) design on the flute allows for a tight close between the double skin pads and the drawn and rolled holes. This improves intonation, which is vital for a beginner flautist. The springs have been developed so that it has a light and easy to use action, which is suited to beginner instruments.
A durable hard case is included to make transporting the instrument easy and safe. Also included is a polishing cloth and cleaning rod to keep the instrument in top condition.
