Edwin Whitmarsh was one of the best 20th Century craftsmen, his instruments beloved for their intricate detail and construction of premium tonewoods. You see these same traits in this gorgeous representation of the originals, with its flamed Maple back and ribs. These features will provide you with a tone that has been treasured for centuries.

Perfectly selected tonewoods

Each and every Hidersine replica violin is handcrafted by Hidersine's master luthiers. Although they all share common specifications, each replica violin is individually handmade and is therefore truly unique.

To ensure the Hidersine Whitmarsh violin produces the best possible tone, it is made from the tried and tested combination of flamed Maple and straight-grained Spruce. Not just any Maple and Spruce though. The Whitmarsh violin exclusively used premium European wood to guarantee a sublime tone.
