The JodyJazz Hand Hammered Tenor Saxophone Power Ring Ligature is a limited edition ligature which has been hand-finished by a master cymbal craftsman. Similarly to other JodyJazz Power Rings, this has been created to reduce the dampening effects that normal ligatures can create. A concave wall minimises touch points to maximise reed vibrations to create the perfect sound. One of only 300 pieces in the rose gold finish, this exquisite JodyJazz ligature is a functional work of art.

Inspired by the tonal quality of hand-hammered cymbals, Jody Espina sought the same sonic properties in saxophone mouthpieces. Paul Francis, a famous cymbal craftsman, has hammered every mouthpiece and ligature in this limited edition run. The resulting compressed bronze is stronger and vibrates more easily.
