It is small and compact, so it won't take up too much room on your piano or in the rehearsal room. The KDM-3 is available in sophisticated black or pure white, to enhance the stylish appearance.

Choose From Different Beat Patterns & Metronome Sounds

The KDM-3 offers a variety of different beat patterns as well as metronome sounds, to ensure you can find what's right for you, your genre and your instrument. It features eight different metronome sounds, including an acoustic mechanical metronome, cowbell, rimshot and voice; so you can choose which will suit your needs. It also includes 19 different beat patterns to support any style of music; consisting of the usual 0-9 bpm with a choice of duplets, triplets, quadruplets, as well as variations including son clave and rumba clave.

Easy To Operate

The KDM-3 is simple and easy to use, making it ideal for artists of all levels. The controls feature a Start/Stop button which flashes in red and green to clearly indicate the tempo. The Tempo/Calib dial allows you to find the numerical setting for you. The large display ensures that the information is clearly visible; showing the tempo, beat and voice. There is a volume dial, headphone socket, as well as sound, voice select, timer and on buttons located on the side of the unit.

3 Different Types of Tempo Settings

As well as the variety of beat patterns and sounds, the Korg KDM-3 provides you with three types of tempo settings for versatile and flexible digital metronome use. Pendulum Step allows you to increase and decrease the tempo, Full Step offers specification of the tempo in one step increments from 30-252, whilst Tap Tempo lets you select your tempo using the Tap button at your chosen interval. The KDM-3 offers exceptional control over the sound to suit your own genre whether it be jazz, latin, pop, rock or classic.

Long Life Design

You can practise daily without worrying about the battery life of the KDM-3 Metronome as it features long-life design with approximately 120 hours of use at 120bpm at maximum volume.

Includes New Convenient Functions

The Korg KDM-3 Digital Metronome is loaded with plenty of convenient features to make your metronome use easier; including Sound Out mode, Timer mode, Memory Backup, and Auto Power Off. Sound Out mode produces a reference tone from a built in speaker, or through headphones, so that you can tune by ear. With 12 reference tones from C4 (261.63 Hz) to B4 (493.88 Hz), the KDM-3 is an extremely versatile metronome. Timer mode operates the metronome for a chosen time period and will automatically stop so you can practise the basics. The Memory Backup function preserves your specified tempo, beat, calibration and reference tone; which even works when the power is off. The Auto-Power Off function turns off the power after 20 minutes with the metronome stopped; to save battery life.
