Similar to more expensive models, the 100 violin features a hand-carved maple and spruce body, not laminated. This combination of quality tonewoods and hand-carved precision produces a focused sound with plenty of tonal warmth which cannot be achieved through lamination alone. Internally, the case is lined with a soft-touch material that won't scratch the finish of your violin. There is also a dedicated compartment for small accessories, such as the included rosin, and two bow holders. The hardwood bow features an ebony frog and natural horsehair, making it durable, lightweight, and very easy to use.
