The Retro Revival Super D New York Tenor Sax Mouthpiece is a faithful replica of the classic 1950s Otto Link 'Double Band' Super Tone Master. Once played by esteemed artists such as Eddie "Lockjaw" Davis, Johnny Griffin and Michael Brecker, the original mouthpiece had a short production run and is now extremely difficult to find. The Retro Revival Super D has been meticulously replicated with advanced CAD technology, resulting in a one-piece CNC milled bar brass mouthpiece. The featured CNC milling ensures a level of precision and consistency that is not possible with moulding.

Its construction features a deep chamber which produces a rich mid and low range. This mouthpiece is based on the New York-manufactured Otto Link Super Tone Masters, so it has a matte gold finish with a lower baffle to produce a balanced tone with plenty of projection. Every detail has been considered in its making; from hand polishing and plating to play-testing each finished product.
