The Rosedale Cor Anglais by Gear4music is an affordable instrument ideal for both ensembles and soloists. Also known as the English Horn, the cor anglais is part of the double reed family and can be considered an alto instrument that is similar to the Oboe. The Cor Anglais by Gear4music features silver-plated nickel keywork and an ABS body ensuring the instrument is durable. With a character that is unique only to this instrument, the craftmanship combined with a well thought out body shape and bell offers a smooth, rich tone.
Full Outfit Supplied with USA Made Reed
Part of the double reed family, the Gear4music Cor Anglais comes complete in a full outfit, including a spare reed, one crook, cleaning tools and grease. Although popularity is increasing, Cor Anglais reeds are generally hard to come by, with many players making their own. This full outfit includes a USA made medium reed, well known for producing a stable tone, that comes in a protective plastic case and has been specially selected for this instrument. As well as this, the instrument comes with a fitted carry case that is designed to provide maximum protection thanks to the solid foam interior and hard plastic outer.
