The Saxony harmonica is a result of Seydel's 160 years of experience hand-crafting premium harmonicas. During this time, they have managed to perfect every detail of the harmonica. One of their key discoveries is the use of stainless steel reeds. Not only do these reeds offer more stable tuning - even under extreme stress - but they're also resistant to any corrosion. These reeds are manufactured using fine-cut technology, optimised flatness, and have minimal tolerance between the tongues and the reed plates. What does this mean for you? The Saxony harmonica requires significantly less air while also producing a full, loud, and overtone-rich sound with a fast response.
On the inside of the Saxony harmonica you'll find a premium aluminium comb. This gorgeous looking comb has been meticulously machined to guarantee the harmonica is completely airtight. Not only has this comb been optimised for an ideal tone-response, it also adds a little extra weight to the harmonica which provides an overall more premium feel.
