No matter how you use the electric double bass, it will always deliver a fantastic tone. If you need an instrument where you can practise in near silence, then simply plug in a pair of headphones. The Stagg bass will sound just like an acoustic, enabling you to practise in confidence, without disturbing those around you. If you'd rather play out loud, then simply plug into an amplifier and jam out to your favourite music.
Traditional feel, contemporary design
Although the thin body may look vastly different to a traditional bass, once you start playing, you'll barely notice the difference! Just like an acoustic bass, the Stagg electric has a solid maple neck and a maple body. It's finished with a gorgeous lacquer.
The electronics in the double bass open up a whole new world of possibilities. On the front, you can control the sound by using the volume control as well as a two-band EQ. Outputs include a standard 6.3 mm output jack and 3.5 mm headphone output jack. You can even plug in your MP3 player via another 3.5 mm jack and play along with your favourite music!
