The Medium Stadium Chamber gives you a full sound and a free-blowing mouthpiece with added projection. This gives you the freedom to experiment with various types of musical expression depending on the style of music. The premium hard rubber material produces a classic, resonant sound and it's also highly durable.

Detailed Durga 5 design

The secret to a fantastic tone lies in the mouthpiece. The Durga 5 has a step baffle which helps to create a bright sound. The step-style design of this baffle means air moves quickly through the mouthpiece for added projection, which is great when you need to play loudly so your solos cut through the rest of the band. The baffle works well in conjunction with the large tip size, which allows you to bend notes easily and generally create a big sound.

Theo Wanne is a modern expert on new and vintage woodwind mouthpiece design. Theo became a saxophone repair technician over 20 years ago under the direction of master refacer Bob Carpenter - a pioneer of mouthpiece refacing and repairs. Theo soon gained a reputation within the saxophone world and in 1998 opened Saxophone Mouthpiece Heaven which is his very own music store and knowledge database.

In 2007 Theo started to design and manufacture his own line of mouthpieces and saxophones, working with famous musicians such as Joshua Redman, Chris Potter, and Eric Alexander.
