Boasting a unique small chamber, flat side walls, and a long roll-over baffle, the Earth 2 offers versatile tones, with excellent expressive capabilities. This is a great all-rounder, perfect if you're looking for one mouthpiece to use for the majority of your playing. The new Earth 2 mouthpiece features an updated body size and shape, allowing compatibility with a wider range of third-party ligatures.
The size-seven mouthpiece has a tip opening of 0.081" - a medium-sized opening which balances expressive capabilities with accurate intonation and upper register access. The 24k gold-plated construction gives the mouthpiece rich and vibrant overtones, whilst the unique chamber shape provides a strong core to the sound. This mouthpiece comes included with a Theo Wanne Liberty Ligature, mouthpiece cap, and a protective mouthpiece pouch.

Theo worked as a saxophone repair technician under the direction of master refacer Bob Carpenter - a pioneer of mouthpiece refacing and repairs. This Earth 2 Alto mouthpiece comes included with the excellent Theo Wanne Liberty Ligature. Attaching via the mounting holes, the ligature's only points of contact with the mouthpiece are on two very small points - giving the mouthpiece and reed freedom to vibrate undampened. Dial in your sound! Mount the ligature further up the mouthpiece for a tighter, more controlled sound; or further down the mouthpiece for a reedier, spread tone.
Also included is a Reed Replacer Cap - an incredibly secure mouthpiece cap which offers unmatched protection to the tip of your mouthpiece. The Earth 2 also comes with a mouthpiece pouch, to protect from scratches and other cosmetic damage when not in use.
