The Yamaha PM1X Silent Brass Mute has undergone many improvements to ensure players are receiving the best accessory possible. For travelling players the disassembled body is a great advantage, allowing the mute to be stacked into a compact size. The new mute does not extend as far over the bell surface as previous models, improving balance when playing. An adjustable rod allows players to position the mute head so they can achieve their desired pitch, resonance and playing feel. Thanks to this new feature the mute can be used with Bb, C, Eb and F horns. The Yamaha PM1X silent brass mute comes equipped with a cable, owner's manual and belt.

High Quality Design

Different to previous models, the PM1X silent mute does not extend as much beyond the surface of the bell, improving its balance during play. The design now also disassembles into a compact size that is much easier to store, a great feature for travelling musicians. To achieve the desired pitch, resonance and playing feel, Yamaha has added an adjustable rod to enable players to adjust the mute head. This also enables players to use the accessory with Bb, C, Eb and F horns.
