French Horn Mouthpieces

French Horns are one of the more difficult brass instruments to plays due to the embouchure, or positioning of the mouth, lips and tongue. As a result, choosing the best mouthpiece for each player is critical, whether a beginner french horn player or more advanced.

Gear4music stock a wide range of mouthpieces to choose from. Silver plated mouthpieces provide a clear and projected tones whereas a gold plated tone provides a darker timbre. Some players have allergies to these metals so, with this in mind, we also stock a range of plastic mouthpieces.

For more advanced players, we stock a variety of different cups and rims by Bach and Paxman to create that truely customised tone.
