Carmine Appice is one of Rock's great performers. He has had fame as a drummer and songwriter with the Rod Stewart Band, and literally wrote the book on rock drumming. His 1972 book, 'Ultimate Realistic Rock' remains an influential text to this day. Describing his signature cymbals, he said:"These cymbals sound amazing. They have a classic rock sound which is why we named them 'Realistic Rock' Cymbals. The attack is awesome, sound is crystal clear and very powerful. They are sensitive or big and trashy!"
