A true, all-in-one drum set, the Jet Set Plus can be used as either a compact acoustic kit, a silent practice kit or even a stand-up cocktail kit for busking and similar outdoor performances. For silent use, just flip the drums upside down to play on the silent mesh heads attached to their resonant sides. A separate silencing pad for the snare drum is included.

Mahogany's sonic prowess
The JSP's shells are built with 9 plies of mahogany wood. One of the more expensive and less common tonewoods, mahogany provides strong low-end and warm, highly resonant tones that are perfect for a drum set of this size. While these drums are much smaller than the average shells, there's still more than enough flavoursome punch to make a statement in a number of genres, from bossa nova to rock, and even Latin music. Prefer to play standing up? With rich projection, you'll have no problem making yourself heard on a busy high street. The Jet Set Plus Shell Packs are available in seven dazzling finishes, sure to impress any audience.

Equipped with double-braced stands, the hardware of this shell pack ensures a stable playing experience even during energetic performances. How do the silent mesh heads work?
Much like the heads you'd find on a good-quality electronic drum kit, mesh drum heads are a popular choice because they retain the feel and response of a traditional drum skin but make drastically less sound. Making them ideal for quiet practice and other low-volume applications. The bass drum and all of the toms (both rack and floor) in the Jet Set Plus Shell Pack have low-volume mesh heads attached. For the snare drum, a separate silencing pad is included. This simply rests on the top of the drum.
