Evans EC Snare Drum Head, 14" Overview
The Evans EC Snare Drum Head, 14" is a new breed of snare drum head. Made from two ply's of differing thickness - 7mil inner and 10mil outer - creates a controlled tone with resonance and sensitivity naturally built in. Musical at all tuning and dynamic ranges, the Evans SST 2mil ring enhances the attack and remove mid-range overtones, helping your snare cut through mixes with ease. Incorporating Level 360 technology, the entire head is playable, opening up tonal choices previously unattainable.
The vertically enhanced collar design sits the head flush with the shells bearing edge, helping transfer the energy from the head to the shell and produce a full-bodies tone. With an easy, extended pitch range of tuning creating an optimum quality of sound, the EC Snare Head works with any shell type for a sensitive and focused tone. Please note: Drum not included.
