Designed into a handy, portable size, the Dual Cube LX is easy to set up play in any situation. Run it from the mains if you're jamming all day or go out and explore while running it off eight AA batteries. Run out of power? No problem, swap in a new set of batteries so that the rock never stops!

And if you are taking to the streets then have no fear, because the sturdy and rugged casing is built to stand up to constant travel. Tough, reinforced corners also mean that bumps are no hassle.

Pick your groove. Whether that's the roaring, volcanic eruptions of hi-gain, full attitude metal, or the simple, soulful cadence of bright acoustics, the Dual Cube LX is here to voice it. Featuring eight selectable amp models you've got an enormous amount of sonic flexibility to employ every time you switch the Dual Cube on.

Those amp models include an acoustic sim, JC clean, US style combo, British style combo, a hi-gain stack, metal style stack, an "Extreme" amp and finally a microphone setting. Combine these with the three band EQ and gain controls, and you can shape virtually any sound that's in your head.

Exciting effects

Redefine your tone. A series of in-built effects allows you to shape and accent your sound in daring and interesting ways. Your choice of chorus, flanger, phaser, tremolo and heavy octaves awaits from an easy selectable dial, so you can infuse your performance with dynamic altering modes. Combined with a delay / reverb setting that has tap tempo and the sonic possibilities are endless!

Performers rejoice! All these effects and amp models can easily be recalled thanks to the 27 settings memories. There are three memories per amp type, so you've got plenty of room to get it set just right. And if you're somebody that likes to customise and personalise their sound, then it gets even better! Connect to the DUAL CUB LX Editor app using the optional BT-DUAL adaptor to fine tune the effects to your taste.

Gone are the days when you're restricted by your equipment. Boss want both professionals and passion players alike to perform, record, or livestream, all with the same amp! Equipped with stereo in / out and USB functionality, it's easy to get recording and streaming. No need for high-end studios and complex gear, you're ready to go with the Dual Cube LX.

And Boss have gone a step further to make your recordings sound their best, as they've equipped the stereo line out with a mic'd cab emulation. This means your tracks will have an authentic, meaty quality to them, just the same as if you had gone to the trouble of micing up your own setup.

Life in stereo

Everything sounds better in stereo, which is why the Dual Cube LX is equipped with two powerful 4" speakers. Crammed full of that refined Boss tone, they'll voice everything with articulation and rich dynamics.

But it isn't just about its stereo speakers, as the Dual Cube also boasts stereo line in and out, expanding your options enormously. For example, the stereo input has a FRFR preamp setting that allows you to connect modellers and multi-FX pedals without colouring the sound. And those seeking the stage will love the stereo out as it'll get you hooked up to PA's with minimal hassle.

Expand the capabilities with optional extras

If you can't tell already, this amp has a whole heap of features. And those features can only get better with two optional extras that expand the possibilities further:

• Looper functionality with footpedals: Give your performance an extra edge with the onboard looper effect. It requires a Boss footpedal to function and will let you layer your sound as you're playing to achieve rich, dynamic effects. Compatible with the Boss FS-5U, FS-6, FS-7 pedals.
• Bluetooth functionality: Ditch cables and pair with the editor app or stream audio completely wirelessly. The BT-DUAL adaptor seamlessly slots into the back to make wireless connection simple and easy.
