Finished in limited edition classic-rock cream, its 6 distinct drive levels and intuitive ISF equalisation control offer tonal tweaks galore. And with 12 additional modulation, delay, and reverb effects, as well as an onboard tuner, inspiration is never far away.
But it's the IDC's external connectivity features that separate it from other entry level amps. The USB port lets you connect to any PC device to record your tracks using the bundled Presonus StudioOne software. Or you can open up Blackstar's revolutionary INSIDER software to fine-tune your sound, or share your favourite settings with an online community of creators. Play along with your favourite tracks with the stereo MP3/Line-in input. Or use the emulated line out to play to your heart's content without annoying the neighbours!

The rotary Voice control switches between Clean Warm, Clean Bright, Crunch, Super Crunch, OD 1 and OD 2. Each of these is combined with the patented ISF EQ control to roll between smooth US-style voicings and the aggressive midrange punch of UK amp tones.
Cores and effects
The icing on the cake, or the first step to inspiration. From rich chorus and funky phase, to dazzling delay and ethereal reverb, the Blackstar ID:Core's 12 onboard effects are far from an afterthought. Endlessly editable, each effect mode (Modulation, Delay and Reverb) contains four effect types, with a simple rotary knob controlling both the type selection and the main parameter of each. The additional 'Tap' button can also be used to punch in the time of delays and modulations. And once you've found your sound, simply hold down the 'Manual' button to store it, so you can explore this feature-packed amplifier without fear of losing your fine-tuned tones.
