Worlds collide. The Boss OS-2 Overdrive/Distortion Pedal offers the unique ability to blend overdriven and distorted sounds into one mammoth tone. This special unit gives you both the famous DS-1 and SD-1s sounds but combining them into radical new thick, dirty tones is where the magic of this pedal lays. Interestingly, these two circuits compliment each other remarkably well thanks in part to the SD-1 clipping asymmetrically while the DS-1 clips symmetrically so you get the harmonic purity and richness of the DS-1's symmetrical clipping and the gritty crunch of the SD-1 asymmetrical clipping. If you're in need of a versatile dirt box that can access a wide range of gritty tones to suit any application, it's hard to go wrong with the OS-2.
