Solid Sitka Spruce & Mahogany Construction

The Sigma 00M-1STS features a solid sitka spruce top, producing a versatile sound that yields a crisp and articulate tone, as well as producing a broad dynamic range which is what gives sitka spruce such a versatile sonic-nature. In addition, its solid top also delivers focused, clear sound of deep lows, warm mid-range, and bright singing highs. Sitka's versatile nature enables it to accommodate many different genres and playing styles, from lighter fingerpicking styles, to heavier more aggressive strumming patterns. Its solid sitka spruce top is attached to mahogany back and sides, adding resonance and warmth to the guitar's sonic-character. The Sigma's mahogany back and sides also deliver a meaty mid-range, producing punchy, woody tones with plenty of depth and complexity that will please most playing styles.

00 Body

The Sigma 00M-1STS features Sigma's 00 body which is close in proportion to that of a classic parlour guitar. Its compact 00 size provides a comfortable playing experience throughout both seated and standing performance, allowing the player to hold the guitar close to the body for easy playability. The Sigma's 00 body and versatile combination of timbers enables the guitar to accommodate numerous genres and techniques with ease, but particularly responds superbly to fingerpicking and slide techniques. Furthermore, the neck is topped with a micarta fingerboard which offers a smooth playing experience whilst adding sonically pleasing tones to the guitar's overall sound.
