The grand auditorium body of the Builder's Edition 614ce has been crafted from Sitka spruce and maple - a sublime combination that delivers an exquisitely balanced and articulate sound. Sitka spruce is used for the body top, a popular and reliable choice because of its crisp and dynamic tonal qualities. Offering superb volume that doesn't sacrifice clarity, Sitka spruce ensures that every note is released from the strings with glistening definition. It is perfect for any passionate gigging and recording musician. As it ages, the sonic capabilities of Sitka spruce become more varied and enticing. Each time you play, its tone opens up - and so do the possibilities of the 614ce.
