The E-II Horizon’s body is built from a marvellous mahogany body and a quilted maple top which provides a fantastic foundation for the guitar's sonic characteristics and creates a stunning aesthetic at the same time. The mahogany offers rich warmth and resonance, allowing each note to ring with its full harmonic resonance. The maple on the other hand adds a bright crispness to every note, a combination that creates a full, defined sound.
Coming with a powerful, yet versatile, set of active EMG humbuckers, the E-II Horizon FR-7 provides an abundance of tonal options to elevate your performance to the next level. Deploying a 66-7h at the neck position, providing warmth and an impressive amount of depth and richness, and a 57-7H bridge position delivers a powerful, punchy presence that is perfect for pushing through the mix. Constructed with steel pole pieces and accompanied with Alnico V magnets the 66-7 and 55- can provide perfect detail, making them desirable for professional musicians.
Floyd Rose has been at the forefront of manufacturing locking tremolos. Utilising a time-tested, and favoured design, these tremolo systems are optimally created, delivering tuning stability, and the availability to infuse your performance with an incredible amount of vibrato. Unlike standard tremolo bridges, the locking system on this guitar allows for full expression, so if you like you can hit those dive bombs without a worry in the world.
The ESP E-II Guitar is equipped with a three-piece maple neck and ebony fingerboard, delivering warm, bright tones with plenty of depth and dynamics. The maple offers roundness to the tone, providing bright characteristics and an excellent amount of sustain. The addition of an ebony fingerboard helps to tighten up the neck’s tone, giving it a defined feel, excellent clarity, and a fast attack. The maple and ebony combination creates a sparkling, sizzling high end, a muscular controlled bass response, and a snappy midrange with extra presence in the lower mids.
