The next level of low-end power. With an additional string you gain an additional range of lower notes, making chunky power chords a breeze. Mix this extra string with the longer 27" scale length and you have a guitar that is extremely capable of attacking the lower registers. Excellent for dark metal and rock, this expanded range let's you experiment and add new dimensions to your sound.
Total tonal ferocity. The EMG duo of 81-7 and 707 humbuckers take full advantage of this guitar's extended scale and deliver a guttural rumble that'll delight any metal fan. Hand-made and searingly hot, these special pickups are loaded with destructive force. Mounted in the bridge is the classic 81-7, specifically adapted for 7-string guitars. Using powerful ceramic magnets to achieve maximum output, this blazingly hot pickup has astonishing amounts of high-end cut and almost endless sustain. It's articulate voicing is clear enough to punch through even the densest mix. For the neck position ESP chose an EMG 707, which seeks to eliminate a muddy sounding top string by using alnico V wide aperture coils. The end result is a beefed-up top string that is clearly voiced and full of character.
Featuring a classic single-cutaway design and a smooth tummy cut for player comfort, the T-B7's alder body gives you full response. Alder provides some necessary brightness to give clarity to your low-end riffs, while the neck-through design lets every note flow from the fretboard through the body, increasing the already superb resonance.
Speaking of the neck, ESP have equipped this guitar with a 3-piece maple neck. Offering superb strength, stability and feel, this design is particularly resistant to warping and can withstand your most aggressive playing. Maple also complements the alder body, as the natural bright tonal characteristics of the woods help temper the lower frequencies this guitar was intended for.
Eminent playability. ESP's meticulously sculpted flat "U" shape neck is a dream to hold and joyous to play. Such a fast, responsive neck encourages your most daring and rapid riffs, so indulge your inner metalhead as this thin profiled neck welcomes it! This thinner profile combines excellent with the neck-through design, giving you unfettered access to those thrilling high-notes.
On top of that smooth maple neck is even slicker ebony fretboard. Soft to touch, glassy and with minimal inlays this board display every detail of this gorgeous tonewood. Naturally dark and dense, ebony excels at crisp articulation and infuses each note with added depth. Equipped with 24 extra jumbo frets, you gain precise string control and can perform bends and vibratos with ease.
