Key Features
The Fender Custom Shop Jimmy Page Telecaster Journeyman is a legendary guitar reborn. Fender presents you with the renowned Telecaster - just as it was when Jeff Beck gifted it to Jimmy. This is notable, because not long after, Jimmy had stripped the paintwork completely! This version awards you with the rare original colouring, and a full complement of iconic Jimmy Page mirrors to complete the aesthetic.
And while these visuals are fantastic, the sounds and playability are remarkable. A set of custom Jimmy Page pickups are hand-wound to exactly mimic a '58 Telecaster. Bright, crisp, and articulate, they'll recreate the tones from Led Zeppelin's seminal first album with stunning accuracy. Together with a neck that's been carved into Jimmy's "Oval C" profile and mounted with a sleek, classically curved 7.25" radius rosewood fretboard, it'll feel like you're holding the original.

Vintage voicings. Unleash the bright, shimmering sounds of a pair of classic Telecaster pickups. These articulate single coils have been custom tuned and hand-wound to closely resemble the character of the originals. And that's full of sparkle, sizzle, and charm, with plenty of cut at the bridge and ample bass at the neck. You only have to look to Led Zeppelin's first, self-titled album, to hear what kind of electric, hair-raising sounds you could expect, as the original was used for every electric guitar part on that record!
Every detail has been accounted for. To ensure an authentic, riff-ready feel, the Custom Shop have crafted this Telecaster to play exactly like the original. And to that end that've carved the neck into a Jimmy Page '59 "Oval C" shape and mounted it with a rosewood fretboard. The Oval C imparts a classic, comfortable feel that'll give a retro vibe and action, while the rosewood is beautifully smooth and sharply curved for quick chording and swift riffing.
It's a Custom Shop Telecaster, so it almost goes without saying that you can expect reliable, buzz free playing. But in case you're not convinced, then rest assured, as the bone nut and string-through-body vintage-style bridge ensure articulate notes and a nigh-on everlasting sustain. It also remains true to the original with a two-piece ash body that has an off-centre seam. And that authentic body wears a Journeyman Relic finish, which makes it feel like you're holding the real thing.
But to really give you Jimmy's style, this spectacular Tele recreation comes included with a mirror accessory kit. Jimmy had soon customised his original Tele
