Key Features
The Fender George Harrison Rocky Stratocaster is going to put the style and spirit of Harrison into your hands. Finished in the style of the legendary "Rocky" Stratocaster that George repainted himself, you're going to stand out with his personal touch.
Not only that, but you're going to steal the sound through a trio of vintage-voiced single coils that channel those dynamic, crystalline tones. Featuring on so many Beatles records and beyond, the sparkling chime takes you back to Fender's golden age. Combined with a neck that's reminiscent of Strats from back in the day, you'll be inspired by its vintage vibe. A rosewood board allows for adventurous, smooth riffing and the '60s style "C" shaped neck instils that craved playing comfort. Play like Harrison, sound like Harrison, and stand out like the maestro himself with the Rocky Stratocaster.

Originally a 1961 Stratocaster, the Rocky possesses the crystalline twangs and sparkling top-end shine that was a hallmark of Fender's golden era. Those clucks and chimes made it on to so many Beatles records that it became a crucial component of their sound, and that voicing is now yours to command. It can be difficult trying to capture and recreate your favourite artists' tone, and Fender have done all the hard work by painstakingly engineering these to sing with the soul of the '60s.
Selectable through a 5-way switch, you've got all the versatility you'd expect from a modern Strat, only with vintage, Harrison-esque tinge!
Stand out. You’re going to be the main attraction on stage with this beautiful, personal guitar. Originally a Sonic Blue Stratocaster, Harrison decided to strip the paint and apply his own psychedelic colouring on top. Fender have recreated this vibrant, impactful artwork in loving detail so you can play with the same panache as Harrison himself.
The finish details extend to the GRIMWOODS stamp on the reverse of the headstock, the shop that George acquired his Strat from for that extra dose of authenticity. Another nice touch is the uncovered tremolo springs and sonic blue finish on the back that echoes the Rocky perfectly.
Riffs from the old school. It's modelled after a '61 Stratocaster, so you're going to get some classic vibes when you pick up this signature special. With a premium, slab rosewood board you're going get serious warmth and sustain in your tone. Not only that, but it feels glorious on your fingers, it's so sleek that position changes become effortless. And speaking of ease, it adopts a classic 7.25" radius so you can chord with consistency.
That gorgeous rosewood is on top of a retro-styled maple neck. It'll let you change positions with freedom thanks to the gloss urethane finish applied to the surface. The old-school sensibility continues with a '60s "C" shape that slots right into the palm of your hand. Together with the soothing gloss urethane finish, you'll be able to play for hours without discomfort. It's the ultimate platform for channelling the riffs and hooks that Harrison is so famous for!
Always sound your best. Treated to some of the best hardware Fender has to offer, this signature guitar allows you to perform with nothing holding you back. A bone nut lets your string ring clear and true, eliminating any irritating buzz. Teamed with that is a 6-saddle vintage style string-through bridge with synchronised tremolo, which provides solid tuning stability and excellent sustain. Not to mention the ethereal, shimmering vibratos you can inject with the ultra-responsive tremolo. Lastly, vintage-styled tuning machines complete the look, and hold your strings in a tight grip to ensure they don't slip out of tune.
