Cut out the unnecessary. The Country Squire Modern Classic puts vintage tones straight into your hands with its single Tapped-Fifty single coil pickup. Because with Fret-King's custom circuitry and smooth old-school voicing, this lone pickup is all you'll ever need.
The Tapped-Fifty is overwound in its construction, so it's able to generate searing hot leads to slice through a mix if needed. But if you want to switch to a more reserved, '50s style cadence, then the Varicoil switching will let you activate it in a moments notice.
Equipped with a three-way lever switch, in addition to a push-push control on the volume knob there's an immense wealth of tones to extract from the Tapped-Fifty pickup. Experiment with each of the positions to draw out a wide variety of dynamics and voicings from just a single pickup.

Boasting a lightly oiled, hard rock maple neck that's carved into a soft "C" backshape, the Country Squire is supremely comfortable.
