A classic - remastered. The Gibson Maestro Vibrola was born in 1963, the final year in which the Les Paul moniker appeared on SG Customs. This means SG Customs from this period are incredibly unique, with a special place in Gibson's history. This model follows the original to the letter, with the Les Paul Custom logo visible on the headstock. The same construction techniques and features have been used to create it - it's absolutely faithful to the 1963 model. As such, you can be sure it'll provide an authentic, unforgettable playing experience which simply cannot be imitated.
Vintage vibrations
The power of three. Each of the Custombucker Alnico III humbuckers in this beauty will transport you to a universe of vintage tone. Whether you want spangly cleans or chunky crunch, you'll find notes explode out of these pickups with definition and clarity. The bridge position humbucker offers that classic rhythm tone which is perfect for a rich, full-bodied sound. Chords will shine, with each note springing to life. The middle humbucker offers a similarly classic tone, with slightly more warmth and balance.
Switch to the neck for some lead excitement. Also an Alnico III Custombucker, it helps your licks jump out with a fullness and fatness that'll leave your jaw wide open.
