It’s not just the pickups that work to create such a unique voicing though. This bass features a combination of mahogany and maple, which add a punchy growl, pronounced lower-mids, and a good sustain. As far as tone goes, it doesn’t get better than this.
The bass’s neck has been crafted from maple, which provides a smooth foundation for your hand to glide down whilst you perform. On top of the neck sits a maple fretboard. This offers a comfortable playing experience, as the material feels soft and natural under your fingers. The fretboard has also been designed with twenty-four frets, so you've got two full octaves to play with, allowing you to add a high-end sparkle to your solos.
What makes this bass stand out is the five control knobs that allow you to adjust your tone and volume to suit your style. Taking centre stage is a responsive 3-band EQ, where you can tweak the bass, mid, and treble frequencies to find your desired sound. It also comes with two knobs that allow you to adjust the volume of the pickups individually. This means you can adjust your voicing so either the neck or bridge pickup is louder than the other. These five controls provide you with multiple ways to shape your sound, which makes this bass flexible for a multitude of styles.
