The Fender Custom Shop 59 Telecaster is built using carefully selected, industry standard tonewoods, this instrument provides a glorious natural sound. Every element of a custom shop guitar is carefully selected to ensure playing perfection - and the wood used to build the guitar is one of the most important ingredients in the recipe. It features a two-piece offset seam alder body that holds a magnificent resonance as well as guaranteeing a tonal warmth that excels in the mid-range, at both high and low outputs.
The neck is made from rift sawn maple, delivering a sturdy performance that will withstand even the most intense sessions. It also brings a clarity and brightness to the tone that thrives with a high-end sparkle, perfect for those lead and solo parts. The fingerboard is built using rosewood, which provides a supremely comfortable playing feel that softens the sound and delivers a balanced performance.
