This Jazzmaster has been constructed from poplar, which ensures that every sound it creates chimes with impeccable response within the high frequencies while also ensuring its midrange is subtly held, and lows are emitted with a welcoming warmth. Poplar is a lightweight tonewood, which makes the instrument incredibly lightweight and therefore comfortable to play, so you can continue to play for as long as you want.
The Classic Vibe 60s Jazzmaster is ready to amaze you with its incredible versatility. Equipped with two Fender Designed alnico single-coil pickups the guitar perfectly picks up every nuance within your playing issuing your guitar with the bite you desire. Wired to a set of electronics that ensure the utmost variety allowing you to access two separate lead/rhythm circuits freeing you to chose between a sharper tone at the bridge or a slightly subdued warmth at the neck.
Designed with a “C” shaped profile neck, the Squier Classic Vibe allows you to excel. The neck ensures a comfortable grasp while giving you the freedom to move from the extremes of the fretboard with incredible ease. Fronted with a 9.5” radius laurel fretboard it possesses a modern feel that frees you to jump chords and solo with incredible manoeuvrability. Topped off with a vintage-style floating bridge, your riffs will jump to the next level allowing you to infuse your sound with impeccable vibrato.
First introduced at the 1958 NAMM Show with a great deal of chrome and controls, the Jazzmaster was originally designed for traditional jazz musicians. However, it soon found itself embraced by reverb-drenched surf guitarists in the '60s, lip-curling punks in the '70s and legions of alt-indie from the late '80s onwards. Fender's first dual-circuit instrument, the Jazzmaster provided a new level of versatility while the traditional wide and flat pickups produced a broad tonality with less bite and a subtler attack than most single-coil pickups. A first choice among players worldwide, there is nothing that can come close to the naturally comfort, remarkable tonal versatility and character the Jazzmaster guitar offers.
